COMITÉ D'AIDE AUX MALADES (CAM)

Founded in February 2006, CAM is a registered nonprofit organization. Our services are available to individuals with serious medical conditions that require care outside the region. We are committed to helping anyone who needs to visit doctors or hospitals outside our region by providing financial assistance to minimize their transportation, meal, and lodging costs.

In 2006, Denise McIntyre called on the residents of Baie Sainte-Anne to form a committee to raise funds to assist sick people in the community and surrounding areas. The Committee for Assistance to the Sick (CAM) was incorporated on August 13, 2007. Denise served as its first president from February 2006 to February 2009.
